"Our Story"
In 1983, we started Mountain Home Chimney Sweep. Bill was our one man sweep company. Over time, we expanded and offered more services relating to the chimney sweep profession. By 1990, we became Mountain Home Chimney Services & expanded to meet customer needs for stainless relining, masonry repairs & waterproofing. Before the Y2K scare, we began selling a line of wood stoves.
In 2002, to help our customers, we built a showroom & renamed our business: Mountain Home Chimney & Flame. Our showroom displays some of the finest wood & gas fueled hearth appliances in the world. We are the authorized dealer for wood, gas and pellet stoves, fireplaces & fireplace inserts from HearthStone, Regency, Excalibur, Hampton, Lopi, Avalon & Fireplace Xtrordinair. We have fireplace mantels, rugs, accessories & can special order items.
We offer chimney related services: Inspections, Chimney Sweeping & Repairs. We provide professional installation & quality workmanship for all our hearth products. All work is guaranteed.
We take fire safety seriously! We have CSIA certified chimney sweeps on staff and are a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG). We do everything as if our own lives depended on it. When we sweep your chimney or install your fireplace or stove, we do it right!
